Pilgrimage in Oettingen

Oettingen is a hub of various pilgrimage routes that lead through beautiful nature and historic sites. One route is the Nuremberg - Lake Constance - Einsiedeln Way of St. James, and another is the Augsburg Way of St. James. Pilgrim stamps can be collected at the Jakobskirche and at the Tourist Information in the Town Hall. Particularly, the "Way of St. James" is well-known and popular. It passes through the old town of Oettingen, past impressive churches and chapels that invite contemplation.
